Moses experienced a significant and life-changing encounter with God (Yahweh) at Mt Horeb in the ‘burning bush’ (Exodus 3). However, encountering Yahweh was not limited to one moment for Moses - but many. Moses continues to meet God in powerful ways and he is changed both spiritually and physically (Exodus 34). 

If Moses encountered God on multiple occasions for his own sake and Israel’s sake, how much more do we need to? 

Encounter is an evening set aside to gather together with all The Street’s locations to meet God through worship, prayer, and ministry.  

Moses encountered God and was changed forever as a leader. The early Church encountered God at Pentecost and the world was never the same. We need to encounter God and allow Him to change us if we want to see our city transformed by Jesus.
