One of the great challenges of following Jesus is that it causes us to stand out from the crowd. Jesus goes as far as saying that those who follow him will face hatred. So what can we learn from Jesus to help us persevere even when the going gets tough?

In the call to love one another in the greatest way, we have to discover where the power to love like this comes from. Simply put, it arises in discovering the outrageous and expensive Jesus has shown for us. 

Jesus talks about the things that come out of our lives as fruit. The truth is that we all produce fruit of some kind. The question is. What does the fruit from your life say about who or what you’re connected to.

If John 13-17 was an archery target, chapter 15 is the bullseye. A life of following Jesus can only come through relationship with him and it begins in the most uncommon way, simply by believing.

Is it far-fetched to think that all followers of Jesus can experience inner peace in these troubled times? In John 14, Jesus promises an uncommon form of peace to all who follow Him, giving some essential keys which open the door to peace.

Obedience seems so out of place in our culture - it might even sound like archaic religion. But this is Jesus and so there must be more to it than just keeping rules. So what does Jesus mean? Listen in to find out.

While we can be amazed at the life of Jesus, he actually teaches something even more incredible.

I am the way, the truth and the life. The uncommon way is an exclusive way. There is no other way.

Compared to the 613 laws that Jews had, Jesus gives us one! It would be the hallmark of his followers, the proof to the world that we’re the real deal.

Jesus washed Judas’ feet! Uncommon love is not just love for those we like but love for those who hate us and oppose us.
